Drayage
Pacifica Logistics offers a drayage service supported by a hybrid model of employee drivers and independent licensed motor carriers, ensuring that Pacifica Logistics customers have the truck capacity they need. Pacifica Logistics operates a fully compliant fleet with federal and state regulations.
Pacifica Logistics guarantees efficient deliveries, utilizing a tier-1 transportation management system (TMS) which is integrated with the port terminals and customers via EDI/API connections. As a US Customs Bonded carrier, with $1 million dollars of cargo insurance, Pacifica Logistics also supports businesses utilizing Foreign Trade Zone (FTZ) and bonded warehouse facilities.
Pacifica Logistics emphasizes their commitment to environmental responsibility as a recognized high performer partner of the EPA's SmartWay Program, an initiative aimed at reducing emissions. Pacifica Logistics company fleet is primarily made up of Renewable Natural Gas (RNG) tractors which have a verified Negative Carbon Intensity of -3.71 g CO2e/MJ. Thus, the “well-to-wheel” emissions is lower than that of Electric Trucks, charging from the power grid. These trucks are exempt from the Ports Clean Truck Fees.

This strategic provision of equipment is designed to enhance driver productivity, significantly reducing port-related delays and constraints. By leveraging Pacifica Logistics chassis rental services, clients can effectively minimize port-associated costs while ensuring the timely movement of their freight. Additionally, Pacifica Logistics maintains a specialized fleet of 20' tri-axle and 40' spread-axle “superlight” chassis to support heavy weight drayage solutions.

Pacifica Logistics is your container storage solution provider, with a proven track record of successful strategic container storage programs for high-profile customers. Pacifica Logistics main yard is within 7 miles of the port supporting wheeled and grounded storage.

Certified Forklift & Top Loader Staff
Our yard staff have been awarded by the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) for their safe and effective operation of Forklift and Top Loaders. They have completed the necessary training and testing to handle these vehicles.
